Compared with sintered diamond segments, vacuum-brazed diamonds are sharper and more aggressive, making it ideal for quickly removing various floor coatings such as epoxy, glue, paint, mastic, varnish, and more.
While sintered segments, vacuum-brazed diamonds, and PCDs can all be used for coating removal, their suitable applications and performance differ. PCDs can cut very deep depending on size, whereas segments and vacuum-brazed diamonds are better suited for removing thinner coatings.
